Y’all, when I was a teenager and at the height if my introspective writing career, I dreamed of the ability to access the Internet wherever. I remember wanting a laptop so badly so that I might sit on my back porch and run an Ethernet cord out the back door to fuel my surfing.
The Internet is everywhere now, and I don’t think I’ve kept up with it. I feel like a granny, trusting a sizable hard drive over cloud-based options. This old lady is wary! What if there’s an earthquake at one if these rural server sites, eh? What then?? Who has back ups of my half-written ramblings and hilarious GIFs?
I’m in the midst of a tech makeover, is what I’m saying, and it’s arduous. In the coming months, I’m looking forward to web site-making, social media-hubbing, and much more bloggage.
